The sitters phase where your precious ones start to, well, sit is a precious yet often overlooked moment in your baby's journey. the "sitters" phase from 3 to 10 months, ideal would be 3-6 months 🙂
Parenthood, especially with a newborn at home can be hectic and a blur. The days are long but the weeks & months are short. This fleeting period, where your baby starts to roll and sit up but not yet able to walk, captures the precious expressions of curiosity and novelty.
Many parents either come for newborn shoots or wait for their 1st birthday to come to the photo studio, but capturing the sitters phase innocence and budding social expressions offers a special and timeless snapshot you will smile at when you look back at the photos

Fully Guided Shoot Focused On Baby Safety
The Studio Loft team is an all female photographer team with our founder, Maryann, being a devoted mother of 2. We understand how previous every photoshoot is and we pride ourselves with making you, your family and baby feel comfortable and safe.
We will help to pose everyone to make the everyone feel at ease. We will give you guidelines on what to wear, and what to prepare for the session.

FAQs
Sitters shoots are best done around 3-6 months. This is when your baby has just started to be able to sit and not yet able to stand too much.
Best to schedule a sitters photoshoot in the morning as babies tend to be less cranky compared to afternoon.
Prepare at least 2 changes of clothes in case of any accidents
Feed your baby just prior to the shoot and burping them, so that they can be comfortable and happy through the shoot.
Do bring anything that can help calm your baby down if chaos ensues.
Parents, do wear neutral colours, nothing distracting (jewellery/big logos/ patterns) to keep the photos timeless
The short answer is Yes. But do be careful who you engage. Do check their experience and if they have attended baby safety handling courses.
For The Studio Loft, we have shot over 1000 babies in our 17 years of operation. We have studied under internationally renowned photographers to upgrade our baby handling, safety and wrapping techniques.

How Much Is The Shoot
Our clients typically spend between $800 and $1600, depending on their requirements. Some families would like a longer duration, a specific number of fully retouched images (including the removal of pimples, slimming, and eye bags), various types of wall art (such as canvas prints and frames), photobooks, and the number of participants involved.
