Looking for the right photographer…

…is like finding the right wedding dress, or even the right hair stylist, midwife, interior designer or party planner.

It’s personal.

You want to find someone who’s talented and fits your style.

As an all-woman team who started to give pregnant women and new-borns the space to feel safe, nurtured and beautiful, our style is both gentle and ever-evolving – we like to keep our creativity fresh!

We balance technical finesse, gorgeous lighting and good old fashioned artistry.

After more than 11 years running our studio, we know what it takes to get kids to flash a smile, mums to relax and even reluctant husbands to kick back and have fun. We guide you into tasteful shots that feel more like a conversation than posing.

Our portfolio speaks for itself!

By the way, we’re in it for the long haul

We don’t believe photography is a one-off event but a journey you take to chronicle your family’s life. From pregnancy, to new-born, to first birthday, to fun themed Halloween, Chinese New Year, and Christmas shoots.

To push our creativity to the limits, every year we lovingly make “seasonal sets” – painting moons, hanging fairy lights, providing props and costumes so kids feel like they’re really rocking out at a concert or meeting Santa Claus.

We bring a little bit of magic to our studio – it’s our secret sauce!

Over the years we’ve literally watched families grow

We’ve seen teeny tiny babies become sassy little girls and unsure first-time mamas become confident mums of three!

We have a deeply personal relationship with our clients and aim to create a space for you to document your family’s life.

Book a shoot – we promise you’ll love it!

Lovely photographers, wonderful photos! What's not to love!?

Ratna Sunil Mishra

I have been using The Studio Loft services since my firstborn was 2 months old. They have been documenting my children's growth for the past 7 years. We go back to them annually, and it's always a pleasant experience. The photographers are always patient with my children, they love going to their studio! Family and friends always comment how much they love the photos. Thanks gals for producing beautiful memories for us always.

Maryann is the managing partner and head photographer at The Studio Loft.

With a background in film and TV production, Maryann was in the advertising industry for a few years. After the birth of her firstborn, she took a leap of faith and pursued her love for photography. Since then, she has never looked back.

If you have come to our studio before and sniffed the wonderful aroma of cakes and breads baking, that’s Maryann’s other passion! You are welcome to try any of The Studio Loaf’s (spelling intended!) bakes, just ask! 🙂

Wen Lin

Wen Lin

After her studies in 2010, Wen Lin joined the studio and has matured as a family photographer. She handles most of our newborn shoots as they don’t talk back hahaha 😀

Her digital imaging skills are instrumental in making you look perfect in your photos. In her downtime, Wen Lin is the queen of the “keeping it real” shoots. She loves capturing those candid moments when no one’s looking.

Irene has prior shooting experience in another studio before joining our team in September 2015. Other than being able to speak flawless Chinese, Irene edits photos and vibes with the older kids (teenagers) getting them to loosen up in front of the camera.

She’s also passed the test of shooting our two worse subjects ever – Maryann’s sons Kayden and Dylan *evil laughter* :p

Valerie is our newest member of the team – and brings film and TV crew experience to the studio.

You’ll see Valerie lurking behind-the-scenes with a camera, bringing still shots to life through videos. Now you can watch the expressions on everyone’s faces and all the fun you had in a 3-minute clip.
